2012 Celebrity & Chef Cookoff

The Celebrity & Chef Cookoff is an Iron Chef-style cooking competition, with eight celebrity/chef teams competing for first place.
2012 marks some big changes for this annual event. The Orpheum has rebranded the cookoff with a new, updated look and new competition rules. This year, the chef and celebrity teams will be picked live, on stage, in a Top Chef-like drawing of knives. A mystery ingredient will also be revealed at the start of cooking time.

Chef Jason Febres of Taste & See Everyday Gourmet will be defending his title against chefs Kevin Derks, Newport Grill; John Fitzthum, Candle Club; Ben George, Tallgrass Country Club; Jake Lippincott, Petroleum Club; Peter Moretti, Wichita Marriott; Marshall Roth, Treat America at Beech Activity Center; and Nathan Toubia, Bocconcini Italian Eatery. The competition is judged by Beth Bower, Denise Neil and Tanya Tandoc. Emceeing the cookoff is Bonnie Bing.
