One of the great all-time American singer/songwriters, Lyle Lovett is currently on tour supporting his most
recent studio album, Natural Forces (Curb/Lost Highway). For nearly three decades, Lyle Lovett has
defined the modern Texas singer-songwriter. Fusing elements of the blues, country, folk, gospel and jazz,
four-time Grammy winner Lovett – in a career that spans 14 albums and more than four million records sold –
has created his own style of Americana, defying convention and breaking down barriers along the way.
Lyle Lovett and his Large Band are able to present a musical breadth that very few artists can deliver.
The Large Band is a formidable musical collective. It’s a swinging Texas big band one minute; and R&B unit the next;
and uptown jazz orchestra the one after that; and then a righteous, gospel outfit.
Subtract a few players for a minute and the Large Band becomes a small one, perfectly suited for subtly
enhancing the most intimate and understated songs from Lovett’s deep catalog.
In concert and on record, Lyle Lovett’s stories and songs are a powerful reminder that he possesses one of
the most distinctive voices in music.

For over four decades now, Loretta has fashioned a body of work as artistically and commercially successful—and as culturally significant—as any female performer you’d care to name. Her music has confronted many of the major social issues of her time, and her life story is a rags-to-riches tale familiar to pop, rock and country fans alike. The Coal Miner’s Daughter—the tag refers to a hit single, an album, a best-selling autobiography, an Oscar-winning film, and to Lynn herself—has journeyed from the poverty of the Kentucky hills to Nashville superstardom to her current status as an honest-to-goodness American icon.
Her latest album, the Jack White-produced Van Lear Rose, is poised now to remind the world yet again of Lynn’s power as a vocalist and her skill as a songwriter. As she puts it on “Story of My Life,” the new album’s closing track: “Not half bad for this ol’ KY girl, I guess... Here’s the story of my life. Listen close, I’ll tell it twice.”

They're here to save the world...
Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, and Egon Spengler are three scientists at Columbia University in New York City. When their grant expires, the guys are fired and they go into business as a ghost extermination company called "Ghostbusters". Their first customer is orchestra cello player Dana Barrett, who was scared out of her apartment on the 22nd floor of a high rise apartment building on Central Park West. It seems that Dana's neighbor, Louis Tully, is also being affected by the strange happenings in the apartment building.
Armed with proton guns, the Ghostbusters become wildly popular, and they are joined by Winston Zeddmore, who is looking for a job with good pay. Overzealous Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) agent Walter Peck thinks the Ghostbusters are frauds, and he has the Ghostbusters put in jail. Peck is forced to believe the Ghostbusters when New York City is put under siege by an ancient Sumerian God named Gozer the Gozerian, who is channeled through the apartment building that Dana and Louis live in, and the mayor has no choice but to let the Ghostbusters out of jail to face Gozer.

In 1930's Austria, a young woman named Maria is failing miserably in her attempts to become a nun.
When the Navy captain Georg Von Trapp writes to the convent asking for a governess that can handle his
seven mischevious children, Maria is given the job. The Captain's wife is dead, and he is often away,
and runs the household as strictly as he does the ships he sails on.
The children are unhappy and resentful of the governesses that their father keeps hiring, and have managed to
run each of them off one by one. When Maria arrives, she is initially met with the same hostility,
but her kindness, understanding, and sense of fun soon draws them to her and brings some much-needed
joy into all their lives--including the Captain's.
Eventually he and Maria find themselves falling in love, even though Georg is already engaged to a Baroness
and Maria is still a postulant. The romance makes them both start questioning the decisions they have made.
Their personal conflicts soon become overshadowed, however, by world events. Austria is about to come under
the control of Germany, and the Captain may soon find himself drafted into the German navy and forced to
fight against his own country.

Two-time Grammy nominee Tommy Emmanuel is one of Australia’s most respected musicians.
The legendary guitarist has a professional career that spans almost five decades and continues to intersect
with some of the finest musicians through the world.
A household name in his native Australia, Tommy has garnered hundreds of thousands of loyal fans worldwide.
Tommy’s unique style – he calls it simply “finger style” – is akin to playing guitar the way a pianist plays piano,
using all ten fingers. Rather than using a whole band for melody, rhythm, bass, and drum parts,
Tommy plays all that – and more – on one guitar. Guitar legend Chet Atkins was one of the first
to inspire Emmanuel to try this “fingerpicker” style as a child.
Decades later, Atkins himself became one of Emmanuel’s biggest fans.
Emmanuel’s catalogue includes 20 musical recording running the gamut of solos, duets, ensembles, cover tunes,
originals, both electric and acoustic guitar. He has made 3 live performance DVDs, 3 additional instructional DVDs,
and regularly teaches master classes on the road. At 54, performing live is more important to him than ever
and he tours constantly, playing over 300 concerts a year for the last five years.
Guitar players of all levels come to his shows to watch the magic hands of the ‘guitar Wizard of Oz,’
but his appeal goes far beyond musicians.
His live shows are known for their humor, passion, and infectious joy.
The power of his charismatic showmanship will be an enduring part of Emmanuel’s legacy.
Tommy Emmanuel’s message is pure love for the music and his delight in sharing it with the world, one audience at a time.
Frank Vignola Trio is scheduled to open the show.
Frank is one of the most accomplished, multi-dimensional players walking the planet today.
Monster player, composer and improviser, Frank plays proficiently in every genre, from jazz to bluegrass,
and works with everyone and their brother.
Frank’s pedigree is a mile long, but a quick Google will illustrate why he is considered on of the best on the planet.
… a night of ‘spooktacular’ music!

If you made a list of performers who have sold more than 53 million records, won multiple Grammys for Best male Vocalist
and countless other honors, earned a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame and sold out arenas world wide,
Michael Bolton would be on that list.
If you tallied all the artists who’ve sung with Luciano Pavarotti and Ray Charles, written songs with Bob Dylan,
Ne-Yo and Lady Gaga, penned hits for Barbra Streisand and KISS, played guitar with B.B. King and his
music recorded by hip-hop superstar Kanye West (featuring megastar Jay-Z),
Michael Bolton would be the only name on that list.
Michael has a brand new studio record to be released on May 4, 2010 on Motown Records
featuring collaborations with NEYO and LADY GAGA.
