AIR Saturday, May 31 - 7:00pm
General Admission Tickets $8 At The Door
Director: Jeremy Osbern
"AIR" is the first modern musical. It follows three stories of people who feel out of place in the world,
and their longing to find a connection with someone else.
It breaks stereotypes - a middle aged African American sings to a new love in a country western bar, a young goth girl sings a 50s style ballad as she wanders the
streets with a broken heart, and a punk croons a modern doo wop at a punk rock show.
Featuring all orginal music, "AIR" is a drama, a romantic comedy, and a musical, produced entirely by filmakers living in and around Kansas City.
There will be a question & answer session after the screening.

This is the official live and authentic re-creation of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper's
final tour and the only show endorsed by both the Holly and Valens estates. Each live
concert performance includes over two hours of unbridled, high voltage entertainment featuring all
the hit songs of the 50's era: That'll Be The Day, Peggy Sue, Oh, Boy, Rave on, La Bamba,
Chantilly Lace and many, many more.
John Mueller, the critically acclaimed former star of the London/Broadway hit musical
"Buddy..the Buddy Holly Story," performs as Buddy Holly and Jay P. Richardson, Jr.
fills his legendary father's footsteps as the Big Bopper. Jay is actually the Bopper's son
and brings with him the heritage and feeling that only he can offer. Ray Anthony performs as
Ritchie Valens and is a renowned star of the "Legends of Rock and Roll" show at the Imperial Palace in
Las Vegas. The very authentic and energetic four piece band (guitar, drums, stand up bass and sax) includes
Grammy award winning Mike Acosta on saxophone.

Gracie Rose
“Gracie Rose" is the story of a young woman (Rebekah Dryden) who toils away in a tiny Kansas town,
working nights at a bar, taking care of her grandparents, and mourning the recent death of her husband.
When Eddie (Jason Miller), a mysterious stranger, wanders into town, a tentative relationship begins.
But the blossoming romance could be destroyed by an astonishing secret in Eddie's past. Bryan Welsby,
Anna Kraus, Mac Welch, David Bailey, Earnest Roberson, Joyce Cavarozzi, and Dick Welsbacher co-star.
New York Writer/Director Jason Bailey and Cinematographer Lonny Quattlebaum will be on hand to introduce the film,
which will be followed by a tenth anniversary screening of "My Day In The Barrel."
"My Day In The Barrel" is the story of Ray (Mike Hull), a typical college student--overcommited,
overworked, and overstressed. It would be hard enough to write a term paper in one night with his roommates
Will (Jason Crile), Dave (Damian Brown), and Nick (Mac Welch) hanging around--but this evening,
there are complications. Like his female best friend, Reese (Carrie Cadman),
who has decided that this is the night to tell Ray how she really feels about him.
Like Ray's discovery that Dave is gay--and hasn't let him on it. Like this evening being the
one-month anniversary of Will's breakup with his girlfriend, Staci (Amity Hoffman)--who he's having a
bit of trouble getting over. Like the party that seems to be brewing in his living room. And as the crisis pile up,
Ray tries to keep his priorities straight and ends up making some startling realizions about his life and the
way he wants to live it.

"Pioneers of the New Acoustic Age...Worlds Best Acoustic Band" - Guitar Shop Magazine
"Winning, energetic and highly accessible..." - Los Angeles Times
"This group skips merrily among genres...the trio's tongue-in-cheek humor becomes full-blown when it
bursts into Ventura-style surf music." - The New York Times
With a whirlwind of instrumental styles fusing classical, rock, blues, jazz, world music, progressive,
as well as the quintessential California musical genre surf music, the California Guitar Trio's stunning
virtuosity and sly sense of humor have earned them an enthusiastic following and wide notoriety,
with significant crossover in the progressive, acoustic and classical music scenes.
Notably, CGT music was featured on the television coverage of the 1998, 2000, 2002 and 2004 Olympics,
and also on CBS, NBC, CNN and ESPN TV programs. The CGT performed on the 2003 Grammy Awards nominated track
"Apollo" on Tony Levin's CD Pieces of the Sun; and CGT music was sent into outer space as wake up music for
the crew aboard NASA's Space Shuttle Endeavor.
Since their inception in 1991, the Trio has released 12 CDs featuring original works from the CGT and a
variety of classics such as Bach's "Toccata and Fugue" and Beethoven's 5th Symphony. In February of 2007,
CGT released Highlights, a brilliant musical anthology that showcases a career's worth of flow and versatility.
Each piece resonates with its own story, and each story contributes to the CGT's 15-year journey of creative
exploration, collaboration, and commitment to their craft.
